The Conserve Protect Love series is born out of the aching heart of a child who futilely wanted to Save Them All, as one by one she lost her animal friends in childhood and grew up to discover the terrible fates awaiting these beautiful creatures whose power was not recognized by human cultures, who could not and would not hear them, see them, feel them, and honor their way of being in the world.

It is to honor all of those lost to a parade of cruelties and acts of indifference including despoiling of the planet and their habitats.

With these works, I urge that we act together and individually, to open our hearts and save, protect, and love the members of these mysterious and wondrous species still inhabiting Earth’s land masses, waterways, and flyways.
